Still images analysis. (Bush)


This high angle shot suggests to the audience that this person is weak and is belittled as the camera is looking down at them. 

This medium shot gives the audience an idea of the location alongside facial expression as it is not too far out to just show the scenery . The shot type gives the audience more of an insight by using different shot types which isn't over-used. 

This long shot creates an enigma code: why is she dressed in such a manner? The shot also indicates to the audience that she may be on the run as she seems to be in a quiet, greenery area due to no other people in the shot.

This extreme close up creates tension between the actors alongside for the audience. It also creates an enigma code: why are they staring in each others eye? The shot also creates tension for the audience as the shot is only of one eye of both actors so it gets the audience to focus on it more than usual.

This medium close up gives the audience an understanding of the protagonist's emotions and what he's doing.


A close-up shot like the one above is very effective as it makes the audience feel the emotions of the actor. It also shows all the finer details of the actor which could also give clues to the audience if there was any action.

The use of extreme long shot gives the audience a better understanding of the location and helps them understand the narrative alongside makes it more creative for the audience to have full knowledge of the location and also it creates emphasises the tension if there is any action within the movie.
